The creation of this work was an exciting and slow process. The canvas was covered with different materials (patterns) in many steps. I ended up with a rug with colorful ethnic patterns - but I wanted light and space and a bit of excitement in it. It took a lot of courage to paint over most of it with white paint. But I now found the flashing of my precious background much more interesting.... I freed the works from their PATTERNS... and ornamental connections emerged that create a fine and lively whole This is like a synonym for how we deal with our own patterns.
