Painted Diahedron Sandwich (2009) Painting

2009 pure acrylic paint, 3 plastic cases 7.5 x 5 x 2 cm I have portrayed three similar appearing, white, substrateless, deconstructive reading paintings in three separate plastic cases within touching proximity to one another. All three are shaped as a loop in a figure eight position but they are dissimilar nevertheless. One of those paintings is a normal loop with two sides and two edges. One of those paintings has one full twist in the body of the loop but it still has two sides and two edges. One of those paintings has a half twist in the loop leaving it only one side and one edge as would a three dimensional Mobius Strip otherwise known as a diahedron (Z/2Z). I believe that I became the inventor of the pure Diahedron Painting in the broader category of Substrateless Painting. This sandwich of paintings belongs to my "Nano White Painting Series".
