St. Mathew Chapter 26 and St. Luke Chapter 22 both give an account of Peter's denial of Jesus Christ, and the Rooster played a major part in the announcement to Peter of his failure to witness for Jesus due to self reliance and fear of those around him. The Rooster's message wasn't in sentences or paragraphs, but his singular crowing was enough to testify for Jesus, and in that same voice convict Simon Peter, whom the Lord loved greatly. Sometimes a picture is worth more than a thousand words. I want to spread the Word of God as best I can in my art.
