Pink Dream Painting

One of the symbolic meanings of the flower is sleep. Dreams sometimes surprise with their beauty and unpredictability of the plot. I wanted to convey this meaning by a chaotic arrangement of fragile, but bright poppy flowers and its branchy stems. In the drawing, I used a color with the name opera. In the original, in daylight, pink flowers seem to emit an additional light. As in the rest of my works, I paid great attention to the textures of watercolors from transparent smooth fills to texturized warm shadows in the greenery. The drawing is made with watercolor light-resistant paints on dense textured white paper with the addition of cotton. Only my signature is on the back of the drawing.
