About The Artwork
Polisciernaga Kosmos, serie Impulse, acrylic on canvas, 80 x 150 cm, 2016 Serie Impulse Impulse is the part of me that needs to communicate with an outside world, where I can live through time. It is not enough to feel this impulse, which comes to life and is set free in the moment when I decide to unblock and simply flow. That´s when I let my body work in the directions dictated by the center of my human being. I make reference to that indomitable sea that comes and goes, striking the limits of silence - becoming a form of pure artistic expression, where I can give voice to a light, a sound - a flash that I call feeling. The thrill of being able to count on senses connected to my inner self, a place where I just create, whilst observing and listening to my inner world, makes “Impulse” an area where I can be free and without any fears, lacking that shame that can overshadow that voice that is born in me and travels from the painting until it is s imprinted on the canvas.
