Thank you for looking at my work! I’ve come to oil paint after working for several years in marketing and fundraising. I was lucky enough to work for an international organisation. That gave me the chance to experience different nature, culture, art, light, colour and form, as well as turning me into a travel junkie... 52 countries visited so far and counting! Now I spend my time on two things I love: dogs and painting. I’m a dog walker part-time, which gives me the chance to get out and experience nature. And I paint the rest of the time. As you’d expect with this background, my themes relate to nature, travel, people and dogs. I focus on oil painting because I love the vibrancy and viscosity of the medium. I aim to use joyful colour palettes and I’m interested in the indication of form in the mind’s eye.
