About The Artwork
This watercolor is from a series of surrealists paintings meant to provoke delight while feeling mildly ominous. In much of my work, I enjoy employing contrasting feelings and adding an element of the unexpected to things that seem everyday. It's my goal to make viewers look closely and consider the complex. This series also aims to add magic to ordinary objects, inviting imagination about lives they may lead when we're not looking. The work is on 140lb. paper. It is unframed so you may frame it how you wish to align with your tastes and decor.
