Profile Painting

Adrien Delannoy was born in Paris. Very early on he developed a passion for drawing. He pursued studies in history of art at the University of Poitiers specializing in French engravings of the 17th century. He worked as a storyboarder in advertising. At the same time, he attended the "ateliers Beaux-Arts de la ville de Paris". Inspired by the human figure and the landscape, he works primarily with oil but uses other mediums as well. Passionate about light and atmospheric effects, he seeks to evoke the spirit of a subject, and aims at capturing the beauty of the world even where we do not suspect it.
