About The Artwork
Without "GA" we are left to see this typical American scene as "Rage Sale"- apropos given the subversive symbols represented in the painting. Intentionally stereotypical to portray that segment of American counter-culture the world has tried to both understand and vilify in polarizing cultural warfare. The painting is a lament, a warning and a mirror showing symbols of false/dangerous ideologies and the self-defeating and destructive mindsets that create these stereotypes in the first place.
