About The Artwork
Rain inspires me a lot because of its fresh cool feeling and also it takes to my childhood memory of willing to go out and get wet in a humid country like Bangladesh. It is so romantic and blue! I lived and still go back to the Netherdands were it rains a lot and the landscape just brings you to a different world for a while. Rain is my favourite subject to paint. Specially now that I live in Saudi Arabia. I miss the wet grass smell and the rain sometimes.

To me, the sky defines greatness and beauty, it is mysterious and distant yet very personal and familiar. The sky is where dreams can be found. I have recovered from Guillain Barre Syndrome, a neurological disorder which left me conpletely paralised. It took me one and half year to walk again. When I was lying in the bed and couldn’t move any of my body parts, my only dream was to run across the grass field and look at the beautiful sky. My paintings are my dreams, my happiness and my celebration.
