In this piece I wanted to capture the memory of the day my girl Kate was reading in her big furry green coat on what was a very cold during an outing in the time of the pandemic. So we had to eat outside hence the coat. It was a very lovely memory even though it was cold and I think both of those feelings come through. The loveliness is shown with how the paint glows and the color suggests the cold.
