About The Artwork

The artist created this canvas using acrylics and pigments, drawing from the Expressionist and Impressionist movements. The strokes of red and yellow dance chaotically, invoking fiery passions and ephemeral moments of freedom and happiness. It is a visual diary of emotions that will awaken vital energies in your home, channeling the impetus of life through the colors of sun and fire. The artist created this work while she had a plastered arm, but the accident did not affect her creativity and her joy of living. Since the canvas is not mounted on a frame, it will require the intervention of a local carpenter who mounts it on a wooden frame and possibly frames it. A frame will help to enhance the work and give it greater importance.

I was born in Varallo, an artistic town on the Alps, now I live and work in Milan. I paint abstract works inspired by nature and travel. Travel includes physical space as well as inner reality. The centre of my research includes trips into the unconscious, remote or underwater landscapes and literary works (primarily mythological). I use several layers of acrylic colours and pigments as well as enamel in my art. The art is often characterized by strong, bold colours. Shapes are like glimpses into a mirage or a dream. I try to express an emotion, mood or feeling. My starting point is an idea, memory or suggestion. My wish is that observers of my work use their imagination to go beyond the boundaries of the painting itself.
