About The Artwork
This is a big (36 inch square) floral composition painted on cradled wood board. The background features a rich ruby red, jewel tone and an assortment of luch blooms grow up and across the canvas. Orange, peach and pink proteas ramble alongside vast lily blossoms in orange and pink and white, soft, deep blue delphiniums sprout up all over the piece and dramatic, oversized birds of paradise arch proudly over the rest of the flowers. Great speckled monstera leaves sweep across the background, providing additional lush greenery from which the other flowers emerge vibrantly and joyously. This is a bright and deeply toned, happy piece, featuring painterly brush stroke textures and many different types of patterning on leaves and blooms. It has been sprayed with a coating of varnish to protect the painting surface. It offers a lively jungle styled garden for the indoors.
