About The Artwork

Watercolour freedom. A realisation of my new found love of my current medium. A vibrancy i didn’t think could be achieved . Soft geometric forms falling into each other that represent rock forms that are lit by the soft sunlight and reflections from the cloud formations that the peaks of the mountains push through. slightly surrealist and dreamscape like. elongated shapes that melt in the the background contrasting with dramatic foreground giving you even more colour and definition . With exaggerated dry brush marks and textures added in to create a walk through of perspective to reach the background. your eye darts around the foreground capturing each set of rock formations before reaching the background of complete calm as your eye wonders into that dreamy skyline.
