About The Artwork
Another painting based on Takota, my Rhodesian Ridgeback. He was no mere dog, and he was quite aware of that. He lost his composure only around rabbits and lure coursing events. He rarely got angry, but he would let me know if dinner was late. This is done in ink with watercolor on 98lb Canson mixed media paper. I put this in the Photorealism category, which might be hyperbole, but this is exactly how I remember him.
