"The Righteous Among the Nations" 150 × 75 cm. Canvas on a stretcher, oil, reinforcing mesh for concrete, thread. I want to tell about myself, about the history of my ancestors. The Jewish people are also part of Ukrainian history. I know that I have the right to say a word for them, having Jewish blood in me. One figure in the work represents two peoples: Ukrainian and Jewish. At a time when there was a mass extermination of the Jewish people (genocide), the great Ukrainian heart, saving them from death, hid entire families at home, some escaped, and many died, they were destroyed in one pit. This is a common misfortune, this is a common grief, but it speaks of the unity of our peoples, of a common history and true friendship so far. There are lists of "Righteous Among the Nations", where most of the Ukrainians found themselves rescuing Jewish families. I am honored to be a representative of two nations, I am honored to have the right to speak about it. Work for participation Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art Korsakiv # names of your ukraine
