About The Artwork
This work is on in a series of paintings in which I am exploring feelings and emotions using various shades of red. In this painting I am using a representation of a rip in fabric to illustrate how a tear in the center of anything can undo the entire structure. However, instead of showing how this destroys something, I'm showing how it creates new things to behold. Heavy layers of acrylic paint on canvas. No hanging hardware included. On a wrapped canvas.
