Rise up Painting

Every crisis, internal or external, is a stepping stone to opportunity, yet the moment the crisis crosses you "you have no eyes to see". I start this painting in mid-2019, the vision was to transfer to myself the strength to be able to get out of overthinking. At that time I let my instinct draw the bodies without following the anatomical proportions. The representation came out smoothly, however the face, which in the vision was a torus, failed in any way. At that point I left the work aside unfinished. Then February, the pandemic: the desperation and panic of people and my loved ones, loneliness... I listened to these dynamics in me, and without any authorization I decided to leave the house, in nature and the magic happened. I could hear the lizards moving several meters away, everything was still, as I had always dreamed of: hearing the silence of the world. After several hours I returned to my laboratory and observed the painting, my usual question when I contemplate my work is: "what are you trying to tell me?". That silence from just before still pervaded me, the vision changed immediately, no head, no speaking mind. And the scars of that intervention are still preserved on the canvas. cm 30 x 90 x 1,5 No protective layer because my request is to let the work age and carry the signs of time. It remains one of my requests, if you need the work to be protected as much as possible, let me know and I will apply the protective layer. Only when preparing for shipping will I dedicate a thought from that moment and bring it back to the back of the canvas to make the creation unique after it leaves my studio.
