About The Artwork
This painting is the stairs of an incremental housing model I designed called the Rising Core House (RCH), hence the title Rising Concrete Hymn. It also has a sculpture counterpart called Raising a Child to Heaven. The Rising Core House, the Rising Concrete Hymn and the Raising a Child to Heaven thus forms a triad of architecture, painting and sculpture of the same concept.
