About The Artwork
Working with oils in layers , I like to create whimsical style and transparency where one feels they can put the hands in the water, in regards to this work. Blue is the most calming color and works well with this piece. Inspiration for this piece, comes from walking on a trail and crossing a creek. Very simple subject turned into a masterpiece that will be the focal point of the room. Many layers, never boring, looks different each time and at different times of day depending on lighting. This one can be enjoyed by all.
