About The Artwork
I visited Lototen islands in Norway on late May. I was enchanted by their beauty. Mountains, lakes, sea, fish man's houses.... nature starts to awake from winter sleeping. For me who love the nature, it was just awesome. I tried to express one moment of spring time in that island. The snow is melting on the top of mountains. I stayed in Robuer, traditional fish man's houses, painted in red brick color. They are so charming with their environment. Relax and enjoy the calm but strong power of spring in island of Lofoten. I first use tempera with some artistic mortar and then use oil painting on canvas. Ready to hang.
