About The Artwork
An impressionist view of rocky shores and crashing waves. With hints of metallic sparkle and layers of blue you can practically hear the waves breaking on the cliffs. This piece is made with encaustic paints which is a mixture of pigments, beeswax and damar resin. The wax paints are textural and have a depth that other mediums lack.
