"Royal Union" is an abstract artwork that depicts two happy people getting eloped. Inspired by unconfirmed biblical stories, the groom has a bit of similarity with king David and Jesus and wears a gold crown and festive ribbons. The bride is wearing wedding ribbons as well, however her veil is a little lifted off her head, reminding a halo and symbolizing a higher connection with the Divine. This artwork has been donated to a private collection of Casa De Rusia Barcelona. https://www.casaderusia.es *** Молодой человек! (C) 2002 TRANSLATED POETRY (ENGLISH): Young man! Give me a ring! Let the fate touch you Wrinkle your shirt sleeve, laugh out of tune, And stumble of the woman’s hues. I so want to become your model wife, To surround you with feminine crushes. In the afternoon, to solve problems and worries, To be at night welcoming and audacious. Why do you frown and keep silence, my friend? Yes, I’ve heard that you are unprepared. You are scared to propose and in the plexus of hands To throw off the bachelor gear. It’s a pity, I wanted to warm your proud “I”, To caress your immaculate shoulders To teach you beautiful words “our joy”, “Our comfort”, “children”, and “candles”. Young man! Give me a ring! I really want the white wedding gown, tiny lilac bouquet, silk of veil on the face, And to wake up as the m’am of your crown. Elena Emma's unique painting and writing style exudes infinite inner depth and freedom. All of her paintings, completed with an illustrative playful touch, have a piece of unique, immensely deep poetry dedicated to them, contrasting the complexity of adult-like subjects with child-like strokes. As a diverse writer, emerging artist, startup consultant and entrepreneur, a professor, a mother of two boys, and a passionate, curious, and spiritual woman, Elena draws her inspiration from experiential fearlessness, deep observational analysis, continuous soul searching, and never-ending internal and external growth. Her visual and written stories, often told from a female perspective, concentrate on exploring the larger picture in business, love, and being. They stimulate the reader and the viewer with open-ended questions and strong encouragement to find his or her own truth. Her characters and situations are multi-dimensional, and through them, she often challenges widely-accepted designations of personal and professional, new and old, right and wrong, good and bad, blurring the preset differences between these terms, and offering new definitions. Elena is the authentic "voice" of her generation, of those born in the 1980s and 1990s to a world of distorted physical, geographical, and moral boundaries, who are yet to find balance between the inborn inner wisdom and cynical dissonance of outside happenings. Be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or paintings, Elena Emma's artwork will leave you mildly teary-eyed and contemplative about your own daily existence and the changes you can make to it. THE SKY IS NO LIMIT.
