About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by the natural wonders of the earth. I believe it is so easy for use to overlook how wonderfully blessed we are to be living on a planet that offers so many natural beauties. It is easy to get caught up in the evolving technologies and large skyscrapers and for obvious reasons. I feel more at peace when I am out in the nature, and I channelled that feeling of peace into this painting. I hope to evoke a feeling of grounded-ness and calmness to whoever looks upon it. It is a reminder that we are a very small part of a very large picture and we must be thankful for the little things that make up the earth. This painting is on a deep edged cotton canvas. It has been painted with acrylic paints along with metallic acrylic paints. The main tools used were sponges and palette knives to give a variety of textures to the piece. Painting will include a Certificate of Authenticity and damage-free hanging strips will also be provided.
