The artist has begun a series of scenes from her travels in both expressionistic and realistic styles which she will paint in various sizes using different mediums. Santa Fe was painted in oils and is in an Expressionistic Style. It is on a 10 x 8 x 1/2" canvas framed in a brown wooden frame.
The artist has been painting in different styles using different mediums for over 25 years. She loves art and has an extensive collection of paintings in her home. She purchases art that she admires for its color, technique, message, etc. She hopes collectors will also consider these reasons for purchasing her art and those of others. Since the artist thinks of her art as her children with collectors adopting them to care and appreciate in their collections, she doesn't think art necessarily should be always treated like stocks which one buys only to perhaps sell and make a profit. Therefore, she is grateful for collectors who purchase art because they value its beauty and intend to make it part of their family to be passed down to their families or friends.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have one sister. As a child I focused more on my music education and received piano lessons from a very early age. I still enjoy playing. My true art education began in my thirties when I began taking drawing, pastel and oil painting lessons. I took many lessons and tried many different mediums focusing on watercolors and oils. No my husband and I live in Bryn Mawr. I taught English and Reading for many years and always had students incorporate art into their projects. I have four sons, 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and another due soon. My life revolves around my family, my art painting and my music-- and I enjoy cooking too.
