Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Watercolor, Ballpoint Pen, Marker, Pastel on Paper.

This is an expressive abstract Mandala painting on 14 X 11 inch paper. As an expressive artist, I love to create art utilizing forms, organic shapes and geometric shapes, expressive lines, scribbles, colors, patterns, and mark making.

Creating Mandalas is lots of fun and I believe that it is both healing and meditative. In Hinduism and Buddhism the mandala represents the universe. In addition, many cultures also have art that is centered on a circle which can symbolize many ideas such as the universe and unity. There are many meanings to Mandalas but it is believed that creating and/or viewing a mandala transmits positive energy.

The painting is created intuitively.
