About The Artwork
This image shows the universe in miniature. At the top of the picture there is the morning star - the symbol of the goddess Ishtar, Lady of Heaven, who was associated with the planet Venus. In the central part there is a mandala, the pattern of which refers to a labyrinth, the inspiration for me was the plans of the temples. In the lower part, I present the monthly moon cycle. The frame surrounding the central part contains depictions of plants having psychedelic effects, often used in shamanic practices. Black gesso, gold paint and gold ink on the canvas. Covered with a layer of varnish. Signed on the back.
