ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This represents a series of works where I captured photos of my shadow in various places that I frequent: beaches, desert mountain ranges and wilderness. In this particular work, the shadow represents my attempt to live in a world of colorful solitude among the media's reaction to the nation's challenges. We all need a moment of solitude and comfort in our modern world of abrupt change. The world is full of color and vibrations that give rest to the mind, body and soul for those who take time out to experience. Annie is my dog and my world that I love with all my heart. THE 2ND PIC IS OF THE LARGER SISTER WORK OF "SAYING HI TO ANNIE" THAT WAS FEATURED IN AN EPISODE OF HGTV's "DESERT FLIPPERS". IT IS INCLUDED SO THAT THE VIEWER CAN SEE IT IN A DESIGN.
