About The Artwork
What most interests me is how we see things. I try to represent the experience of vision. What I mean by this, is that I try to paint things not to look real but to feel real. I don’t think colour plays a central role in conveying this feeling of reality. In the process of seeing, what we can actually take in with our eyes is relatively limited. The eyes tend to select a limited number of elements, especially high contrast, fine details and also items of biological .I built my painting using these key elements: high contrast and fine detail.
