About The Artwork

Powerfully rendered, highly textured semi abstract Original seascape done in watercolor on synthetic paper. The was painted en plein air at a local Delaware beach. The 11x14 format is very standard and fits in over the counter frames. I recommend a 16x20 frame with a white mat under glass (available at arts and craft stores that sell frames.) I listed another seascape with the exact frame i'm referring to. It's solid wood. I paid about 20 for it with a coupon. I can frame for you but would have to relist this painting appropriately which would increase your cost. Check out the loose, abstract brushwork and realistic texture in the sand.. This could be yours forever at an exceptionally reasonable price.

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has been living in sunny Southern Delaware since 2000. I work in different mediums and have a range that expands the stylistic spectrum from realism to abstract expressionism. My work can be found in private and corporate collections. I feel I have broken new ground with my recent abstracts using my own proprietary processes for exploiting the properties of the pigments to create organically occurring patterns only marginally facilitated by my input. I've also learned to paint watercolor landscapes in such a way that creation feels more like I'm observing an accelerated geological process than making a painting. ' Effective November 14th, 2020 I've been confining myself to painting representationally in to grey tones and abstracts in color. If art was food, the tonal paintings are the meat and starch and the abstracts the hors d'oeuvres and desserts.
