Painting, Watercolor on Paper

Ships in a Tube
I painted this watercolor from an image on Twitter of Romy Schneider smoking nude and seated with a foulard opposite to a mirror. This image in black and white created an emotion in me and encouraged strong feelings about the independence, confidence and strenght that transmited the seated figure but at the same time I also felt the fragility and sadness of her existence. Feelings can't express in a realistic manner because they are abstract and so elusive that is not possible to fix them. So it is a condition to allow them to control the painting and influencing on the final piece. In this way all the happenings in this painting, as the watercolor spots splashed on the paper that erase the woman figure, are just a consequence of letting emotions out and they never were thought previously, This work in watercolor and black watercolor marker is signed and dated on the front and is shipped in an extra strong cardboard tube. It can be framed as desired.
