Every second Sunday of the month downtown Charleston SC closes off King Street to allow pedestrians access without vehicle traffic. This painting is of a view of King Street from the corner of King and Calhoun St. It is an enjoyable event where shoppers can walk around from store to store and the restaurants put tables and chairs outside for serving customers in a European atmosphere.
