"Secret Positivity" Painting

Ausra is a Master’s degree pharmacist and self-taught painter originally from Lithuania. Having lived and worked in four different countries, she spent the majority of her professional life in the United Kingdom balancing her career, studies, and raising two children. Despite her academic background, Ausra’s connection to visual art began in childhood. After a period of focusing on dance and her career in pharmacy, she pivoted to pursue her lifelong creative calling. She now resides and works as a full-time artist in Greece, drawing profound inspiration from the country's rich history as the birthplace of Western art. Immersed in the natural landscape of her Greek environment, Ausra channels her surroundings into highly original oil paintings. Driven by themes of nature, wildlife, idealistic figures, architecture, and Greek mythology, Ausra's work explores the positive narratives and symbolic meanings behind visual beauty. Her compositions utilize a bright, dominant color palette designed to evoke power and optimism. Stylistically, her work occupies a unique space that oscillates between impressionism, realism, and surrealism.
