ABOUT THE ARTWORK

30" x 40" painting on canvas entitled Serenity In Blue #2. Inspiration is that feeling sometimes of needing a place to go where no one is around to let down one's guard down. Artist Doron Noyman paints an abstract, minimalist interpretation in acrylic and resin of a person relaxing under a wide blue sky. Inspired by a 1953 Milton Avery print, the painting has a rich, smooth surface of acrylic and resin on canvas. Soft colors give the painting a soothing quality. The painting continues around the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas and is ready to hang. -Thanks for looking!
