Serpiente Painting

This work is part of a series called Eden. The inspiration comes from observing the images of the different types of plant cells and having a feeling of being immersed in nature, almost like being in paradise. To really feel that around us and within us life is pulsating and vibrating unceasingly. The inner biology of every living being and being able to reconnect with all our surroundings. This is how a symbiosis is made between the principle of life from the biological point of view as it is the cell in its physical expression and the biblical with the "Garden of Eden". There is a scientific dimension, but there is also a spiritual dimension in all this matter of the emergence of life, of creation and of inhabiting this world. How would Adam and Eve have observed and felt the world at the moment of their creation? Reflecting on this, there is immediately a sense that our human body must once again feel this communion with its surroundings. This project consists of several works on parchment paper, perforated and painted. Perforating the sheet of paper emulates the internal structure of cells, their voids their intricate "tissues" that are expressed in various ways throughout nature but have in common the cell and the human inhabiting outside and inside all of this. The presence of the body in tune with nature, reinforcing the concept that both nature and humans are here and emerged together millions of years ago.
