Shelley is a turtle that my mom carried from the front of our yard and moved with her shovel to the ditch beside our house. Shelley grew into a big snapping turtle where she raised her babies. This turtle is smart as a whip! and cute too. I have other shelley paintings coming soon. The original size of this painting is 42x60 Oil on wood and can be viewed at ANF Architects as part of their permanent collection.
