About The Artwork
This is my sixth work on "shipwrecks" and "ships in the storm" issue. It was painted in Finale Ligure, during 2016 summertime. Oil colors cover a crayon sketch. (Among the oil colors you can still see traces of the marker). The subject is "fictional". A ship lies on a beach, sloping, sad, but still alive in its colors and its emotional power. Dominant color is deep blue, with magenta, purple and white lights.
