ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I work without a plan putting color onto canvas. Often, I begin to see things in the abstract and choose to better define it. This piece was created in that fashion. Once I saw the peaceful maiden on the horse, I filled in the negative space around them with color. 36" high x 24" wide, acrylic on canvas with staple free .75" sides painted white. Protected with several coats of varnish.
