Skies in Question Painting

Painting an open sky as a way into sense of interior spaciousness and freedom. I imagine the painting as a space for contemplation and expansion. I love drawing, directed and non-directed, and used ink lines I used a technique for feathering ink into the paint to create the delicate, feathery ink marks that suggest trees emerging from the landscape and lines to suggest ground. I imagine this work as a stand-alone piece for many spaces that could benefit from an extended view. It's a very small work I realize, and so it would also be dynamic voice in a grouping of works as well.
