About The Artwork
I live on a 70 acre piece of land in central Vermont. My studio faces the woods on one side and an open field on the other. I am inspired by the abundance of wildlife that visits my landscape and always have my eyes on the sky for birds and moody clouds, etc. We had a snowy owl visit one winter day, most likely pushed south in search of food. Typically we have plenty of barred owls in the yard looking for a quick meal at the feeder, but this visitor was unusual and inspired a quick dash to the painting table.
