Solitude Painting

A series of works was written based on the pages of Milan Kundera's novel "Immortality". Written page by page - literally. The pages of the novel are pasted on canvas and are the basis of the semantic message and the basis of the compositional solution. Almost all pictures in the title contain the title of one of the chapters of the novel. The title can be read at the top of the canvas. The series explores bodily, sensory perception in contact with intellectual, spiritual content. I portrayed different women - dressed, half-naked or completely naked, confident in the attractiveness of their sensuality. They seem to invite people to think about spirit and body, about death and immortality. “… You know me by my face, you know me just by sight and never knew otherwise… ..My face is not me yet.”
