This year April gave us some extremely beautiful dramatic skies, especially at the sea you can see so much of the sky and watch this event created by light and rain... I hope you can enjoy it as much as I do and remember, that after rain, there comes the light. I love to work with water colors when travelling and love the way they later influence my work on canvas, so there will always be small series of watercolors in between canvas work. 23x10 cm, watercolor on paper, part seen in the mat is 10x20 cm. The frame shown on the photos is just an example. Comes mounted with matte, 30x20 cm, ready to be put in a Din A 4 frame. Comes with certificate of Authenticity and signed on the back. You can choose a different size of matte of course and put the painting in a bigger frame if you like. If you need any advice on that, just ask. If you want it signed on the front or on the matte, just ask. (c) 2018 Gesa Reuter, all rights reserved

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
