Song of blue Painting

Born 1959, in Patmos I studied journalism in Athens, however quickly abandoned the capital, choosing to return to my home and work as a civil servant. I am self-taught in the art of painting. For a period, i devoted my self to Iconography and was taught the art by the great iconographer, the late Sister Olympiada of the Monastery of Evagelismos, Patmos. Today i paint abstract compositions of landscapes with a focus on either fluidity of colour or the technique of impasto. I aim not to guide the study and translation of my art, instead allowing the audience to communicate and interact with each piece of work and extract what it is they understand collectively from it.
