I was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I graduated in Fine Arts in 1976 by the Federal University of Minas Gerais. I relate with the world in a very sensuous manner. I speak from my position as a woman, I revere femininity. Painting a woman in the nude fascinates me because, as I see it, she becomes vulnerable and paradoxically powerful, as she lures people and make them succumb to the sheer beauty of the curves of the female body.
