About The Artwork
I have been always attracted by elements of our nature, its inconstancy, force and dynamics. One of my series of works is about water - in all its states. Snow as one of water conditions is probably the most peculiar and capturing thing in the nature. Snow fall brings changes the picture in front of us and gives purity, everything gets new and you see many contrasts. But I don't see the point in reproducing the environment exactly as it is. Because on the one hand, this is not feasible to us since nature is much more deep and changeable, and on the other hand I want to bring my own vision to the picture I have in mind as I am the part of nature. The artwork has a hinge for wall fixation. The painting on a thin 3 mm panel with its white framing like floating in the air.

Once I discovered that the impression of some place or object appears as a blurry abstract picture subtly conveying the essence of what was seen. Then I began to train my vision and over time I opened a new space of beautiful abstract things everywhere in everything that surrounds me. I was born in Moscow, Russia. Currently live and enjoying my work in Verona. I started oil painting only in 2020 working with a real and imaginary landscapes taking many types and styles and discovering my own perception and techniques. Being also a lighting designer and photographer I am inspired and motivated by the dynamics of natural light which creates a variety of uncertain effects playing with environment and its textures, colors and shades. My abstract and semi-abstract paintings field an array of ambient and often shifting spaces permeated by soft or intensive streams of light and substance.
