About The Artwork

SOUTH KOREA. A new war has dawned upon us. An unfamiliar sorcery ushered in by The dark clouds we bore in our palms. The unpresented storm, with a sparkling lightning brought everything to life. Mannequins gazed through shop windows At synthetic people walking on the streets. The synthetic people gazed down a glass abyss Into a virtual reality inspired by seducing spirits. We distorted the meaning of life as we know it. The land of high mountains and sparkling streams. The land of the morning calm, until we plugged in. Byte by byte it eroded culture. Morality and reality became subjective. Death danced the way of the fist and the foot. Blow by blow it beat out of us empathy. Self worship became the norm, in guise of liberty. Voluntarily we marked our names in red. Flying kites did not take away our misfortune. The tiger was nowhere to be found, to guard the people and drive out evil. The land of high mountains and sparkling streams. The land of the morning calm, until we plugged in. Trading truth for pleasure, duality set in. Outside popular culture nobody knew who they were anymore. The immobilizing kicks of movies, music, News and empty scroll feeds, Brought us to our knees. Worship of senses ensued. For godly gaze we viewed the stars in astronomical labs. For godly taste we indulged in honey dipped chips. not sparing man's best friend. For godly senses we built an ecstasy park. Held each other close Danced the deadly way of the fist and the foot. Dropping into an eternity away from the creator, All we could remember of grace was The land of high mountains and sparkling streams. The land of the morning calm, until we plugged in.
