About The Artwork
This little guy is part of a series I did of birds that I found to have an attitude. He is small and blue but truly a tough guy. The work is with a palette knife over newsprint on a canvas. The texture of the paint with the palette knife and the roughness of the colors really adds a dimension that is appreciated up close or from a few feet away. When you look at this little guy it should remind you of determination and beauty, something we all should enjoy in ourselves.
