I was inspired by all of the beautiful blooming flowers here in the Pacific Northwest. Gladiolus come in so many colors and their shapes are fun to paint. Painting done with watercolor and batik on rice paper. The painting is of brightly colored gladiolus and other flowers and greenery in a vase. The predominant colors are reds and pinks.
