About The Artwork

"The sky grew darker, painted blue on blue, one stroke at a time, into deeper and deeper shades of night." Haruki Murakami I love the sky. I love the stars. I love the starry sky. This love resulted in a series of 10 paintings. It was difficult to stop when Muse asked to paint more and more. Watercolor painting is a great choice to make yourself or someone else happy and inspired! And I definitely want to see other people happy and inspired! Up to date the serie "Starry sky" includes 10 paintings. This painting is No.1. NOTE: The colors shown on your screen and/or web viewing devices may vary slightly from the actual painting or print colors. The images in-home might not be to scale, and serve for illustration purposes only.

A full-time Ukrainian watercolor artist based in Braunschweig (Germany) since spring 2013. I was born and grew up in Poltava, Ukraine. I’ve dreamed to be a painter since my childhood and only after my 25th birthday I’ve started to paint. 6th November 2012 was the best day in my life – my first art class. Traveling and painting has been my big dream, which finally came true in 2013 when we moved from Poltava (Ukraine) to Braunschweig (Germany). I find inspiration in a beauty of nature, flowers and plants, in the beauty of the environment around – from ancient to modern architecture, cityscapes, minimalistic landscapes, and clouds, sunsets, endless sky. To know the materials better I have visited several factories of art materials producers - Hahnemühle (April 2018), Royal Talens (May 2018), Escoda (March 2019). Furthermore, I work and cooperate with world producers of art materials - Hahnemühle, Schmincke, Da Vinci, St. Cuthberts Mill, ShinHan, Royal Talens, Escoda, Rosa, Tombow. I am a member of German Watercolor Society since April 2018 and a member of International Watercolor Society in 2018/2019.
