About The Artwork
I painted Liberty as a reminder of the liberty and freedom that she stands for. The colourful puzzle pieces on her face show how diverse people can be whilst still fitting together to make something beautiful. This magnificent A3 Statue of Liberty has been painted using watercolour paints in my own unique style. I wanted Lady Liberty to stand out and be vibrant so I have blended bright colours to achieve this. She looks majestic and powerful and through this will inspire strength and positivity. I have used different shades of green within her robe to represent the 31 tons of copper that she is made from.
